UTS Journalism
Festival News, the daily newspaper of the Sydney Writers’ Festival and Festival News Online are productions of UTS Journalism.
UTS Journalism is part of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Technology, Sydney. It offers an undergraduate journalism degree as well as a postgraduate journalism courses. The program is closely linked to the Australian Centre for Independent Journalism (ACIJ) which offers a wide range of short journalism courses to the public.
Festival News is produced by UTS Journalism students, working under the supervision of journalism academics, all of whom are experienced professional journalists. UTS Journalism also publishes The Precinct, radio programs on 2 SER, Swerve Magazine, Newsday and Reportage, the online magazine of the ACIJ.
